Your invitation to Prayer & Worship ‘Events’ across Lyndhurst area’s church communities during 9 days of prayer together.

v Special Lyndhurst Deanery TKC Ecumenical Service
For all churches across the deanery area to launch the TKC Novena in prayer and worship together.  7:30pm on Thursday 25th May at St Saviours Brockenhurst.

v Pray for 9 at work  
Encouraging people in the work-place, in businesses across Lyndhurst deanery, to pause to pray for 9 mins during their working day each of the 9 days of the novena.

- St Saviours, Brockenhurst:

  • Thursday 25th May Deanery Prayer Service at St Saviours Church Brockenhurst, at 7:30pm    All welcome
  • Led Morning Prayer  from Monday 28th May – Saturday 3rd June 2017 at St Saviours Brockenhurst at 7am   All welcome
  • 24 hrs Prayer Vigil at St Saviours from 8am Friday 2nd June – 8am Saturday 3rd June   All welcome
  • Prayer Stations at St Saviours from Monday 28th May – Saturday 3rd June  All welcome
  • Sunday 4th June 3pm start for Film on John’s Gospel  All welcome

- St Thomas’, Lymington 

Please join us in this international initiative. There are prayer cards, and a prayer station for the Novena, in St.Thomas church and Vistas café. In addition, there are specific Novena activities every day (see also details here):

  • Thu 25.May 9.30am  Ascension Day service with Lymington Infants School, St.Thomas; 
  • Thu 25th May 7.30pm Thy Kingdom Come deanery launch service, St.Saviour's Brockenhurst
  • Fri 26.May  9.45am Friday fellowship, St.Thomas Hall 
  • Sat 27.May   9am Prayers for the Parish, St.Thomas
  • Sun 28.May  8am, 9.15, 11  Sunday worship focusing on Thy Kingdom Come diocesan initiative “Who Cares? Hampshire”
  • Mon 29.May  9 - 10.15am Bank Holiday Prayer Breakfast, Ravenscourt Road 
  • Mon 29th May 9am coffee and croissants, 9.15-10.15am Prayer and Share; Hospital Chaplain Linda Lee will lead us in praying for healthcare and mental health services
  • Tue 30.May 8.30am Morning Prayer, St.Thomas
  • Tues 30th May 9am  Ecumenical Prayers, St.Thomas
  • Wed 31.May 11am Holy Communion, St.Thomas
  • Wed 31 May 11am - 2pm Vistas Prayer Room and lunch, St.Thomas Hall.
All-age prayer activities focused on our community. Sandwich lunch available 12-1pm as usual
  • Thu 1.Jun  3.45pm Lyfe Church bible study in a local café *
  • Fri 2.Jun 4 - 5.15pm Prayer Tea, Pilgrim Place * 4-4.15pm tea and cake, 4.15-5.15pm Douglas Marcuse will lead prayers for our leaders and national issues
  • Sat 3.Jun  9am  Prayers for the Parish
  • Sun 4.Jun  8am, 9.15, 11 Sunday Worship, commissioning for Thy Kingdom Come major project “Who Cares?”
  • Sun 4th June 7 - 8.30pm Thy Kingdom Come Beacon event with Archbishop Justin and “Who Cares?” launch, Winchester Cathedral (book on line)

- St John’s, Hythe:

  • Prayer stations on ’Thy Kingdom come theme' in St. John’s church every morning from 25th April - 4th May 9-1.  
  • Tuesday 30th Market Day Gazebo in Church yard where people can come for prayer - prayer request cards to be offered to public in the market 
  • Hythe Fayre on Monday 29th April. Cards with prayers on will be offered at the same time.
